Katy&Jon’s day was timeless, charming, romantic, elegant… shall I go on??
Their rich cranberry and navy blue color palette accented with gold was stunning with the beautiful rustic touches of the Enchanted Barn. Wooden crates, flowers in tea cups, and knit doilies created such a sweet yet stunning statement. Their day was marked by handmade and intentional details– Katy’s mother even took on the florals herself!
There were so many precious moments throughout their perfectly overcast day (with a 5 minute downpour that quickly subsided). The two enjoyed their first look in secluded path forged into beautiful greenery and Jon’s reaction was perfect (and understandable– Katy is a stunning bride!!) Their ceremony was full of laughter and tears as family and dear friends surrounded them in love and support as they vowed their hearts and lives to each other and said “I do.” They had a glorious encouragement and reminder of the necessity, beauty & fruitfulness of life and marriage when we walk in truth and love.
Katy&Jon chose the garden party flow for their reception and so there was a perfect casual simplicity to the rest of their evening– yard games, chatting on the patio, watching little ones run and play, lots of hand-crafted artisan pizza from the Marra Forni wood fired oven and soaking up every last minute and moment of their first evening as husband and wife. With, of course, not forgetting to sneak away in the rolling hills for some kisses before last light.

We can’t be more thankful to have celebrated with these two,
and know that only more beautiful things are in store for their new adventure together.
