Carlee&Eric’s day is swarming with all the enjoyable adjectives– charming, sweet, timeless, classic, flawless, stunning, joyous, carefree, whimsical, intentional, warm-hearted… I could seriously go on and on. We were delightfully met with a gorgeous rain-free Friday and even occasionally saw some blue skies, but I don’t think even rain could have put a damper on this unforgettable day nestled in the rolling hills of Pepin, Wisconsin at The Hidden Meadow & Barn. Every detail had such a simple&sweet vintage feel and the bridal cottage was one of my all-time favorites– hanging Carlee’s dress in such a swoon-worthy setting was just the cherry on top. The two enjoyed their first look under the alcove of hanging vines and then enjoyed the afternoon with family & their bridal party before guests arrived. Their outdoor ceremony was the perfect combination of feeling open & surrounded by the gorgeous green landscape of Wisconsin and yet private and intimate. Carlee&Eric did a unity tree using soil from both of their parents’ homes where they grew up (I wish I had done one of those at my wedding!!!!).
The rest of the evening was spent under the beautiful open-sided reception barn lit by chandeliers– the fireplace was a favorite of mine!!!– as toasts were given, kisses were exchanged, drinks+ darling cake pops  were enjoyed, and the dance floor was torn up.

Congratulations you two– here’s to more adventures ahead!
