Sarah and Kyle’s day started with a slight rain shower as the ladies got ready in the shelter of the Jefferson Street Inn in downtown Wausau, WI. The scent of fresh cut flowers filled the room and as we entered this bouquet from Sarah’s husband-to-be was on display. Sarah was absolutely stunning in her dress and long veil — we loooove long veils :). We arrived at Sarah’s family farm in Mosinee, WI where the ceremony and reception were all set up for the day. The natural scenic beauty of her family’s land rivaled any wedding venue we’ve seen this year! The ceremony was overlooking a calm lake, the path leading to the reception was shaded with tall pines, and the tent was placed on the edge of a field perfect for sunset portraits of the couple. Kyle saw his bride for the first time when Sarah walked towards him, with tears in her eyes, down the aisle. With family and friends cheering them on they sealed their vows with a kiss, or two :). The party began shortly after and they laughed, kissed, and danced as husband and wife. Words don’t do this wedding justice so enjoy this photographed retelling of their day.
