Ann&Ben’s Flawless Mountaintop Wedding// Rib Mountain, Wisconsin

Photography by Kelsey Jonas & Alyssa Trainor

WausauRibMountainSummerWedding-36PINAnn&Ben’s Rib Mountain wedding was overwhelmingly amazing– every detail was stunning (although these two could have gotten married in a shed while covered in mud and still made it beautiful and inspiring!!)
The day started out at Ann&Ben’s new home and as the girls got ready the excitement and joy were tangible. We then moved to the Carriage House at Yawkey House Museum in Wausau where Ann got her dress on (umm.. we just about died as we pulled her dress out of the bag to photograph it– you’ll see why… I’m still swooning over her train).
They had their first look under the gorgeous vine-covered lattice and timeless white columns– by far a favorite moment of the day… Ben’s face was one of the best we’ve seen, can you blame him– I mean, look at Ann!! It was so sweet to see him wrap his soon-to-be-bride up in his arms with tears in his eyes.
We found some fun and stunning doors for the bridal party photos– it was so fun to see how the brick drive and ivory of the building so perfectly complimented the girls coral dresses and flowers.
Then the time came to make the ascent up Rib Mountain where they said their vows, took communion and bowed low beneath the cross together– giving their lives to each other and their marriage to the Lord. The beauty, joy, and peace that covered their ceremony is hard to explain… and the view overlooking Wausau was nothing short of breathtaking.
The two then celebrated with all their family and friends into the night at the Sundance Chalet at the bottom of the mountain. Their first dance was SO fun as they changed styles of dance and songs sporadically– keeping themselves and everyone else watching on their toes!
I cannot imagine a more perfect day for these two– even after eagerly anticipating their wedding since last winter… it was still far above and beyond anything I could have anticipated, and I’m sure everyone who was a part of it would say that same.

Congratulations Mr.&Mrs. Kaster!! I’m so excited for all that is in store for you and may the grace of the Cross carry you through all seasons of your life and marriage– the lowest valleys and the highest mountains. <3

Enjoy this retelling of their day!
