When first talking with Meg, she described the vision of their day to me as a cocktail in a mason jar and I can’t think of any better way to describe it.
Their entire day was marked by elegance that came in such a rustic, simple package, and was definitely one of the most relaxed, make-you-feel-at-home wedding days I’ve ever been a part of.
Meg&Alex took [backyard wedding] to a whole new level, and left me thinking at the end of the night, “wow, they really did think of everything”. From the smallest of details in getting ready, to the stunning white tent and decorations, to the fireworks/sky lantern to kick-off the reception dance.
The weather was gorgeous, the lighting was perfect, and there were so many genuine, heartfelt moments throughout the day. (Their first look was one of the most emotion-packed, heart-stopping first-looks I’ve ever captured, and left me more than teary-eyed).
I don’t think their day could have been any more beautiful or fitting for them.
and a huge thank you to Alyssa Trainor for second shooting for me!
